Legendary avant-garde jazz vocalist Phil Minton comes to Leeds to perform a solo set of freely-improvised vocals at Wharf Chambers. Known for his bold and idiosyncratic use of extended techniques (burping, gurgling, polyphonic singing, grunting etc.), Minton enraptures audiences the world over. Minton is of the first-generation of free improvisers in the UK; this performance will ground you in its otherworldliness.
