Paying homage to the great Jazz Dance scene prevalent from the 1970s to present, Lift Your Feet x DJ Lubi present a club night celebrating jazz with a dance backbeat.
We are delighted to host Tina Edwards (Soho Radio, British Airways Radio, Love Is Everywhere, Worldwide FM) for a special intimate party at Leeds' biblical home for underground jazz music, Hyde Park Book Club. Tina Edwards is a DJ at the forefront of the UK Jazz explosion. In the wake of Ezra Collective’s historic Mercury Prize win, it’s time for Jazz to dominate on the dancefloor—and her 150,000 + Instagram followers know it. Having been a vocal pioneer of the UK scene for a decade, Tina proves that jazz and club culture are perfect partners.
Digging deep into their vinyl and record collections will be two legends of their cities, DJ Lubi (DIG Family) and Harkirit Boparai (The Crescent), alongside the trusted Lift Your Feet residents of Jono, Harry Rook and Prawn Posture.
