Hailed as “one of the most innovative and creative bands in the UK today” (Soweto Kinch, BBC Radio 3), Snowpoet premiere their much anticipated fourth studio album Heartstrings at Leeds Jazz Festival.
Their third release on Edition Records, Heartstrings follows the hugely successful albums Thought You Knew hailed by NPR as one of the best albums in 2018 and Wait For Me in 2021.
Snowpoet’s music offers a rare insight into song and poetic lyric writing, holding a space for the complexities found in love, loss, change and ultimately renewal. Their music is “a beautiful statement of the heart” (Arts Desk) and “the kind of music you often look back to” (Written In Music).
Snowpoet are Lauren Kinsella (voice), Josh Arcoleo (saxophone and bass), Matt Robinson (piano and keys), Chris Hyson (bass and synth) and Dave Hamblett (drums).
